If God FORCED us to love him, it would not be a genuine form of love, would it? So, God gives us a choice, that’s the only way that love can be meaningful. But, of course, real “choice” means that we can choose not to love Him. That’s the risk of authentic love. I’m glad we have chosen to love Him.
