In a non-intuitive little twist we find that humility
actually demonstrates God’s power in ways that a brazen display of force cannot
do. “God opposes the proud but favors the humble. So humble yourselves under the mighty power
of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.” 1 Peter 5:6
