Because He has given us free will, God sometimes ALLOWS things that he doesn’t actually APPROVE of. So, be careful not to let the fact that God is allowing us to do something automatically lead to the assumption that it is good, or that He approves. What God ultimately desires and approves of is our obedience to Him. I’m hoping to have that down pat, any day now.
