God Has Given Us Imagination

We are made in the image of God and that means, among other things, that we have the capability of seeing things in our minds.  Sometimes, even, things that don’t yet exist.  God has given us imagination.  “…Far more than any other power, imagination is what sets human beings apart from every other species on earth.” ~Ken Robinson.

What's interesting is that children seem to have better imaginations than adults. I've been noticing, quite a bit lately, that children have so many of the qualities that Jesus says are important - it really reinforces for me Mark 10:15 "I tell you the truth, anyone who doesn't receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it."

Mary;
Several books I've read that deal with imagination or creativity suggest that everyone has this quality but that it tends to be discouraged in some ways when we are very young and so we don't develop it as effectively as we could. I don't know if that's true, or not. But it seems possible and it would help explain how children seem to have better imaginations than adults.
