We Can Choose The Way We Think

“One of the most significant findings in psychology in the last twenty years is that individuals can choose they way they think.”—Seligman.  Hmm, we can choose the way we think, huh? “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Phil.4:8

Weeks ago, Janice had used the example of how when you are driving and you look to the left or the right for a period of time you tend to drift that way and you should "look to the good side" to remind yourself that there is good in you. (I'm probably really messing that up)

I translated that to the girls (using a bike or walking as an example) and told them to keep focusing on the good instead of the bad and they would tend to do good. I've been trying to do that, with God's help, since Janice said that and it really is amazing how I can feel Him more in my life.
