“The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.” Proverbs 18:21. As I read this, I noticed that it was directed toward “those who love to talk”. Did you catch that part? Does this verse slightly concern anyone else, or is it just me? If…“those who love to POST on blogs” is a present-day equivalent of “those who love to talk” I’m going to need to be much more careful.

I don't think this is referring to those whose words are encouraging and edifying. The emphasis here I think is on the word "love". A gossip loves to talk as well as many insecure people who brag or claim to know it all. Their own words can be their downfall. So I don't think you have anything to worry about, your words are words of encouragement and filled with loving reminders of His love for us all. So blog on.
