Sometimes we want Jesus, but we want Him on our terms. That’s not how a discipleship relationship works. When you are a disciple to a teacher, you come to that teacher acknowledging your submission to him & you agree to come to him on His terms. He’s the Master, you’re the student. You agree to accept His teachings. You agree to be faithful to His teachings. That’s being a disciple.
