The first line of the Lord’s prayer says: “hallowed be thy name.” What does it mean if we say that something should be hallowed? That’s talking about deep respect & devotion. It’s a way of saying, “Lord your name should be honored & revered.” So, to say “Lord, may your name be hallowed” is an act of worshiping God.
