“Apathy” is antithetical to love because one of the primary aspects of love is that it is an act of CARING. It is easy to become apathetic because life—and this includes the people in our lives—can be unfair and difficult. So, we can be tempted not to care. Let’s pray to God for help to RESIST this temptation. Let’s not stop loving and let’s not stop CARING!
