Because Jesus is Holy, his standards for us have to do with MORE than just compliance to external behaviors. Jesus’ standards for us involve having a heart that’s been changed by the Holy Spirit, a heart that’s soft and compassionate, a heart that’s caring, a heart that reflects the genuine presence of God.
