Good Is The Enemy of Great

Author Jim Collins, says that “Good” is the enemy of “Great”.  In other words, it is easy to settle for “good” in our endeavors and not pursue “great” because good is…well…it’s good.  What’s wrong with good?  Answer: Nothing.  But that’s precisely why it’s so easy to settle for good and that’s precisely why, oddly enough, good is the greatest enemy of great.
