Some of us read what the Bible says about love and we think, “I need to love people more.” This is correct. But if we are understanding God’s word correctly it is important for us to come to this conclusion, also: “I need to be more willing to receive love.” Sometimes the trust that is necessary for us to receive love is difficult, but receiving love more willingly is part of loving better.
