Some people consider it to be a strike against the authenticity of Christian faith that people often turn to faith in Christ only after things have bottomed out. But that doesn’t surprise me. It’s after we truly recognize the problem that is created when we are in control that we are in the perfect place to understand our need for help from someone more than ourselves.
