This blog contains comments and teaching regarding living the Christian faith and comments on the intersection of faith and many other aspects of life from pop culture to science. It also has some stories--hopefully they are amusing stories--from my life. ~Dan

Self Condemnation
It’s possible that there is no voice of condemnation that
you hear as powerfully and as frequently as your own voice of condemnation.
That has, occasionally, been my experience. That’s why this passage of
scripture is so helpful and powerful for me: “Therefore, there is now no
condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus…” Romans 8:1.

There Is No Condemnation For Those In Christ
Sometimes we feel guilty because we’ve done something wrong. On the other hand, some of us are plagued by feelings of guilt even when we haven’t done anything wrong (at least, not recently). In either case, the answer is still the same: Turn to Christ. “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus…” Romans 8:1. Amen, to that truth!
