Good Deeds With Right Motives

It’s helpful if we do good deeds with the right motives.  Jesus said, “Don’t do your good deeds publicly to be admired by others…” Matt. 6:1. He went on to say, “When you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.”  When we do good deeds a healthy approach would be: “Boy, God has been so incredibly good to me that I just want to quietly and discreetly share that blessing with others.”
