Sometimes Criticism Is Needed To Avoid Complacency


“Although the new wave of atheists like to imagine that religion has hitherto been exempt from frank criticism, Christians are in fact quite accustomed to it, and probably need it to help us avoid complacency.” – Phillip E. Johnson. That’s an interesting thought, huh? Johnson suggests that Christians “need” a certain amount of criticism to help us avoid complacency.
