Dear E-Flash Friends;
When the surgeon came into our waiting room with a smile on
his face, we had a good feeling. The
surgeon told us that the procedure was successful. A patch had been attached to Art’s heart and
we have cause for optimism. We are all
keenly aware that the situation is still serious but we are joyful and a
collective sigh of relief could be felt in the room.
After speaking with the surgeon for a few minutes, we all
gathered in a large circle, held hands, and offered a prayer of thanks to God.
Many of you have prayed for our brother in Christ, Art
Serenas. Thank you for doing so. Art’s family is grateful for your loving
thoughts and prayers. I am, too!
Again, Art’s situation is still serious. We ask that you would please continue to
pray. But we are hopeful and praise God
for good, encouraging progress!
