This blog contains comments and teaching regarding living the Christian faith and comments on the intersection of faith and many other aspects of life from pop culture to science. It also has some stories--hopefully they are amusing stories--from my life. ~Dan

The King of Kings Lying In A Manger Says "I Love You!"
Jesus had to humble himself and be a human being in order to
serve as a sacrifice for human beings.
In other words, He had to be human so that we could be forgiven; so that
we could have eternal life. The humility
of Jesus is another aspect of His love for us.
So, when we think of the King of Kings lying in a manger as a humble
baby, remember that is another way of God saying to us, “I love you!”

Saying "I Love You"
It’s important to say the words “I love you”. Even if people already know that you love them, say the words anyhow. Words are important and what the words “I love you” convey to others goes beyond the potency of a simple phrase. It lifts people up, it encourages them and it strengthens the bond that exists between people. And even if they already know, it’s a nice REMINDER that…you love them.
