E-Flash From Dan, 9/16/16

Dear E-Flash Friends;

This weekend launches our Fall Kick Off services!

You might be thinking, “Wait a minute… I thought it was still August!?!”

Nope we are more than halfway through September already.

“…Oh!”

We will begin a new series this weekend titled: “Good Thinking, Bad Thinking.” You probably already know this but what we think about matters. If you would like a further explanation of that concept…terrific! That is exactly what we will be doing over the next few weeks.

The worship team has a special time planned for this weekend. You will definitely want to join us!

I know it’s getting late in the week but there is still time to invite someone. Oh sure, it can feel risky to do so but why not give it a try? It’s possible God has already been preparing someone you know for these moments we will share together. It could be life changing!

The services are at 9am or 11am, Sunday, September 18th.

I am really looking forward to seeing you and I’m already thanking God for the good things that will be happening!

Love and blessings,

Dan

E-Flash From Dan - March 20, 2015

Dear E-Flash Friends;

The Restoration Ministries worship team is going to be joining with some of the singers from our worship team to lead our music this week. I’ve just come from listening in on the rehearsal and I can tell you it is going to be fantastic!

I’m so excited about what I’ve just heard that I can’t hardly wait till Sunday.

Hmm, let me think about it… it will be about 35 more hours!

And I have the privilege of delivering the fourth message in our series on Heaven. The message is titled: What Will We Do In Heaven?

You will not want to miss the service this Sunday!

Love and blessings,

Dan

E-Flash From Dan, January 30, 2015

Dear E-Flash Friends:

What’s the best way to spend Super Bowl Sunday?  That’s an easy question to answer.

First, you get up and come to a thrilling and inspiring church service!  Then you go watch the game.

You thought I might say that, huh?

I know a lot of people are excited about the Super Bowl but I’m excited because we are starting a new 4-week series this Sunday, February 1st.  The title of the series is, “Putting First Things First” and it will deal with getting some of the foundational issues in our lives in place.

The first week of the series we will look at something very important Jesus spoke about which is found in Matthew chapter 6, vv. 31 & 32. The title of the message is, “Seek First The Kingdom.”

The worship team is planning some terrific music that will point us to the One who is worthy of our praise. God will be glorified and I believe you will connect with Him if you come.

Also, I’ve had a fairly interesting week and I’ll share a little bit of my experience with you.

You won’t want to miss it!

Looking forward to seeing you this Sunday.

Love and blessings,

Dan

P.S. You can be assured that nothing at the church has been deflated.  Everything is being maintained according to official church league rules.

E-Flash From Dan, 12/19/14

Dear E-Flash Friends;

The brilliant thinker and author C.S. Lewis referred to the Incarnation (God becoming man) as the “Grand Miracle.” According to a C.S. Lewis website he called it the Grand Miracle because he saw “every other miracle of Scripture as preparing for, demonstrating, or resulting from, the Incarnation.”

In other words the Incarnation had to happen first in order for every other miracle that Jesus performed here on earth—including the Resurrection—to occur.

We will be talking about this wonderful Grand Miracle at the services this Sunday, December 21st, as we celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus.

Lisa has planned our worship time for the Christmas services and in a memo she sent the team earlier this week she expressed her feelings this way: “I... CAN... NOT... WAIT! :) So looking forward to worshiping with you all!”

I agree completely. You won’t want to miss this one!

I really hope you can join us. Service times are 9am and 11am.

Love and blessings,

Dan

P.S. We also have a great service planned for Christmas Eve. Why not make plans to bust away from the pumpkin pie for a few minutes and join us for our beautiful candle-lit service this Wednesday, the 24th, at 9pm? I truly believe your heart will be blessed.
