Our understanding of “who God is,” represents our theology
of God. It has to do with the nature and
character of God. And this might seem
like it involves intellectual issues that don’t really matter. But these things do matter. Our understanding of “who God is” affects our
inclination toward honestly loving and serving Him. The good news is that God is holy, righteous,
all-knowing, all-powerful, loving, gracious, truthful and just. He is a good God and He really is worthy and
deserving of our love and our devotion.
