Jesus graciously accommodated Thomas’ skepticism and allowed
him to see and touch his nail-scarred hands and the place in His side where the
spear was thrust. Thomas then
believed. He recognized Jesus as God and
worshiped Him. Then Jesus said these words, “Blessed are those who have not
seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29
