It's Good To Gather Together To Worship God

There’s an encouragement of our souls and a strengthening of our faith that happens when we gather with other believers to worship God.  This encouragement and strengthening is important, very helpful and—according to the Bible—it is necessary for those who really want to honor God and grow to be more Christ-like.

Gather Together To Encourage Each Other

Part of the reason that Christians gather together [ go to church ] is to remind each other of things that we already know and already believe.  You say, “Why would we do that?”  Because it’s one of the ways that we encourage each other in the faith.  “So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” 1Thess.5:11.  Thanks for the wonderful encouragement you give me!

Gathering Together And Being Encouraged

One of the simplest but most important reasons that followers of Christ gather together is for the encouragement that comes from being with others who say, “Jesus has changed my life, too.  I believe!”
