How in the world could people with different personalities and temperaments and different points of view—people from different backgrounds—ever come together and experience any type of unity? Answer: God’s love. “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” Col.3:14. This can sound naïve, but it’s true when God is really in it.

Healthy Connections To Others Are Important
Real love binds us to others—particularly, others in the body of Christ. So, if we are living an isolated life it’s very possible that we are not connected in a healthy way to the body of Christ and it’s possible that love is not operative in our life the way Christ designed it to be. “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” Col.3:14
