Dear E-Flash Friends;
It has been brought to my attention…by several eagle-eyed readers, that I made an error in my E-Flash message sent earlier today, 10/14/10. (The good thing is this proved to me that people actually read these messages.) I wrote that the Oktoberfest and the Trunk Or Treat events are happening on back-to-back weekends. That is incorrect.
This is what happens when you read a calendar with the lights off, following a dosage of Nyquil. So, I apologize for the incorrect information.
Actually, there is a weekend in between the Oktoberfest and the Trunk or Treat event. Oktoberfest is Sunday, October 17th, and Trunk or Treat is Friday, October 29th. I was wrong about the “back-to-back weekends” part of the earlier E-Flash, but all the other stuff about the events—the fact that they’re fun and worthwhile and exciting—still holds. And you are still cordially invited to the new series on the New Testament book of Colossians which begins this Sunday, October 17th.
Again, I’m sorry for the confusion. Please know that I have been properly chastised for my mistake by the “proper chastisers”. And, frankly, this is just another indication that I need a little more sleep. So, I’m taking away my television privileges, as punishment for my error, and I’m sending myself to bed without dessert.
