Trying to impress others?

Here is one of those quotes that is funny because it’s uncomfortably true. It’s from Will Rogers who was a very witty man and one of my favorite ballet instructors:

"Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people that they don't like.”
