Being Vulnerable And Living God's Way

If we live the way that Jesus calls us to live—if we love others the way Jesus calls us to love—we will be vulnerable.  This raises some questions:  Can we trust that Jesus knows what’s best?  Can we trust that living His way is right?  Can we trust that if we live His way, He will look out for us?  Consider this: Trusting Him and living His way—in spite of this vulnerability—is part of how we come to really know Him and experience the truth of His presence in our lives.

Being Ready

We’re all checking out of here.  Some of us are going sooner and some are going later, but we’re all going.  I don’t write this so that you will be sad.  I write this so that you will be ready.  (There’s a big difference between the two.)  In fact, knowing that we are ready is actually a tremendous source of joy and peace!  How are we ready?  By knowing Jesus and trusting in Him for eternal life.

Is There Evidence of Trust In Your Life?

When a person is really trusting Jesus, there is evidence of that trust.  So, here’s a good question:  If someone is looking at our lives and wondering whether we are really trusting in Christ, is there a good chance that the person would see evidence confirming that suspicion?
