Yesterday, I asked everyone to please silence their cell
phones, as a courtesy to others, during the service at which I was
officiating. Less than one minute later,
the fairly loud and obnoxious text message notification on my phone—which I
thought was turned off—rang.
As you might guess, there was a very strong “Hey, Bub,
practice what you preach!” vibe happening in the room at that moment.
