For the follower of Jesus our goal is not to win
arguments. Typically, winning an
argument has more to do with nurturing and protecting our ego. For the follower of Jesus our goal is to
understand and embrace the truth.
Understanding and embracing the truth draws us closer to the Source of
all truth. “I am the way and the truth
and the life…” –Jesus, John 14:6
