Love That's Not Based On Performance

After I apologized to friend, one time, he said to me, “Dan, my love for you is not based on how perfectly you perform.” That was a kind, generous, Christ-like gift.  If you can honestly tell a person that your love for him is not based on perfect performance, you will enhance and nourish your relationship with him.
