Book Signing Event, June 24, 2012

Dear E-Flash Friends;

Many folks have been kind enough to ask me about this and I am pleased to announce that we will be having a book signing event at the First Church of God, Oak Lawn, IL, for my newly published book “That’s A Very Good Question!”

The book signing is scheduled for Sunday, June 24, 2012, after the 11 o’clock service (approx. 12:15pm, or so).

There will be books available for purchase at the book signing event ($11.95) or if you would like to order a book in advance it is available on Amazon.com or BarnesAndNoble.com  (Go to either site and type “Dan Marler” into the search field.)

Many of you have been incredibly supportive of me in this first attempt at a very big project and I appreciate that tremendously!

That's A Very Good Question -- My New Book, Available Soon!

I’m very excited!  Final revisions are being made and my new book should be available in several weeks.  Check out the cover of the book in the picture.  The title is: That’s A Very Good Question – Answers To Tough Questions.

Here is what it says on the back cover…

Pastors are asked lots of questions about the Christian faith—in fact, they are asked some very good questions. Like these:

• What convinces you that there is a God?

• Can God do anything?

• What’s the difference between blind faith and reasonable faith?

• What’s the point of praying?

• Can you explain God’s timing?

• How can someone who has been really hurt extend God’s grace?

This book provides answers to these tough questions and many others as Dan takes a look at some of the more interesting and difficult questions that he has been asked in his many years of pastoral ministry and offers answers that are biblically sound, understandable, witty, and encouraging. You’ve probably asked some of these “very good questions” yourself.
