Love Is A Life-Giving Force

According to St. Augustine, authentic love is vital and has a power to energize us and breathe life into us.  “People are renewed by love.  As sinful desire ages them, so love rejuvenates them.” ~St. Augustine.  Real love—God’s love—is a potent, life-giving force. “God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.” 1John 4:16

Growing In Love

Are you GROWING in love? This is normal for followers of Christ. If we’re not growing in love, there is a disconnect somewhere and it’s time for some honest soul-searching. The longer we live with Christ, the more His love will grow in us. “God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” 1John4:16(b)
