Easily amused

Rachel and I were laughing at the grapefruit you see in this photo.

If you were to say to me, “It’s just a grapefruit, Dan. What’s so funny about it?”

I would have to confess that I don’t know. In fact you’re right, it really isn’t all that amusing.

Nevertheless, for no apparent reason, she held it up and we started laughing at it.

It’s entirely possible that we have reached a point at which we are far too easily amused.

(If we find ourselves spending the rest of the evening laughing at the grapefruit I will have Nadia notify the authorities and we will be taken in for observation.)
