Christians do not view surrender to God as something
negative. This type of surrender is not understood to be a form of losing.
Rather, surrender to God is an acknowledgement of the truth that power and life
are found in Him. This may seem odd, but surrender to the Almighty One—the One
who knows what is best for us—is actually victory.
