Hold On, Take A Breath... Don't React Too Quickly


When we are angry with someone it can be very important to pause and not react too quickly.  Wait for a while.  Take a walk.  Count to 10… (or maybe 110). This practice of not immediately reacting in the midst of anger is particularly true and helpful when it comes to online communications where it seems people are more likely to communicate in ways that are much harsher than they would do face-to-face.
